Tablets contains vitamins and vitamin like-antioxidants. The B group vitamins play pivotal roles and has a great impact on neurological health. These B group vitamins have specific effects on brain cell functions and their deficiency leads to different neurological and psychological problems. Mecobalamin (Vitamin B12) is an essential vitamin for the proper functioning and development of the brain and the nerve cells.
Mecobalamin (MeCbl ) or Vitamin B12 is normally involved in several metabolisms such as DNA synthesis and regulation, fatty acid synthesis, and energy production. It is a coenzyme of methionine synthase, which is required for the formation of methionine from homocysteine in the methylation cycle which involves methylation of DNA or proteins. Compared with other analogs, MeCbl is the most effective one in being uptaken by subcellular organelles of neurons. Therefore, MeCbl may provide better treatments for nervous disorders through effective systemic or local delivery.
Folic Acid stimulates the hematopoietic system. Folic acid is biochemically inactive, is converted to tetrahydrofolic acid and methyltetrahydrofolate by dihydrofolate reductase. Using vitamin B12 as a cofactor, folic acid can normalize high homocysteine levels by remethylation of homocysteine to methionine via methionine synthetase. Vitamin B6 is biologically active coenzyme form pyridoxal 5′-phosphate, is involved in a wide range of biochemical reactions. Vitamin B1 helps in the reduction in intracellular protein glycation by redirecting the glycolytic flux.
